Werken bij Dominicanen

We zijn een winkel in het hart van de stad Maastricht en Heerlen. We mogen ons verheugen in een grote schare bezoekers uit Nederland, de ons omringende landen en bezoekers van over de hele wereld.

Ons assortiment omvat Boeken in alle categorieën (nieuw, 2e hands en -beperkt-  Antiquarisch); Muziek (LP’s en CD’s); Tijdschriften; Pen & Papier en Non-Books.

In beide vestigingen van Boekhandel Dominicanen is een Coffeelovers aanwezig, zij serveren de beste cappuccino's! 

Als je bij Dominicanen wilt komen werken en er zijn vacatures dan zijn er een aantal voorwaarden die voor alle vacatures van toepassing zijn:

  • Je beschikt over een klantgerichte en klantvriendelijke open houding
  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal in woord en geschrift
  • Als je één of meerdere andere talen als bijvoorbeeld Engels, Frans, Duits, etc. spreekt, is dat zeker een pré.
  • Het assortiment en de verschillende producten spreken je aan / je hebt er affiniteit mee
  • Het leren omgaan met verschillende computersystemen gaat je makkelijk af
  • Je bent collegiaal, kunt werken in teamverband en hebt geen 9 – 5 mentaliteit
  • Je bent bereid om op zaterdag en zondag en ’s avonds te werken

Working at Dominicanen

We are an independent bookshop in the heart of Maastricht and Heerlen. We are pleased with a large number of customers and visitors from the Netherlands, the countries around us, and from all over the world.

Our product selections contains of Books (new, secondhand, - limited- antiquarian) in several languages such as English, French, Spanish etc. ; Music (LP’s and CD’s); stationery; Non-Books.

In both of our shops is a Coffeelovers coffeeshop where they serve the best cappuccinos!

If you want to work with us and we have job offers, there are a number of qualifications that apply to all of them.

  • Your attitude is open minded, customer friendly and you have a service attitude.
  • You speak and read Dutch
  • If you speak one or more languages e.i. English, French, Chinese, German, etc. this will be appreciated extra in our evaluation of your application
  • You have an affinity with our product range
  • You have clearly readable handwriting and you have a sense of order and cleanliness
  • Learning how to work with the different computer systems is giving you no difficulties
  • You are collegial to the other workers, can work as a team and you have no 9 – 5 mentality
  • You are prepared to work on Saturday, Sunday and in the evening
